Dr. Kim Hoang is a UCSF-trained dentist who believes dentistry should be thoughtful, conservative, and kind.

Before becoming a dentist, Dr. Hoang spent years as a cosmetologist focusing on skin and hair. That experience shaped her eye for beauty, facial harmony, and the small details that help people feel confident in how they look. Today, she brings that same artistic sensitivity into dentistry - designing smiles that look natural, healthy, and balanced.

Dr. Hoang's approach is conservative and patient-centered. She believes in preserving natural tooth structure whenever possible, explaining treatment clearly, and helping patients choose care that feels right for their health, comfort, and long-term goals. She also understands that dental anxiety is real, and she takes time to keep nervous patients calm and comfortable - including discussing conscious sedation when clinically appropriate.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hoang enjoys cooking - something that reflects the way she approaches her work: with patience, care, balance, and attention to every detail.
